Colne and Nelson kicked off the junior section’s season with an encouraging performance against a tough and well-drilled opposition. Burnley Football Club today lost its appeal against the red card shown to Clarke Carlisle in last Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Millwall.

Millwall rival Palace for Iversen

Tottenham Millwall are interested in former Tottenham striker Steffen Iversen. The London Evening Standard says the 34-year-old , who has an English wife, has three months of his contract to run at Rosenborg, who face FC Copenhagen in the Champions League tonight. Ipswich, Norwich and Crystal Palace are also interested in the Scandinavian.
